Responsibilities
1. Monitor Purchase Order system for approvals and proper GL codes.
2. Process Checks in accordance to corporate schedule.
3. Create corporate level PO’s as needed.
4. Process & verify Receiving Batches from Purchase Order System to ensure all purchases and expenses adhere to corporate policy.
5. Reconcile vendor statements.
6. Assist with annual audit.
7. Maintains good relations with all vendors.
8. Assemble applicable sections of Draw Request.
9. Maintain vendor files according to corporate policy and accordance with IRS guidelines for 1099 reporting.
10. Reconcile AP/PO Sub-ledgers to GL on a monthly basis.
11. Assist with monthly NC Sales & Use Tax reporting.
Requirements
1. Has completed a high school degree and two years of business school or college, including bookkeeping and accounting courses.
2. Has previous experience as a bookkeeper.
3. ERM experience (Great Plains preferred)
4. Experience with e-procurement/requisition software is a plus.
5. Experience working with personal computers, computerized accounting software, and word processing software.
6. Must possess good telephone communication skills.

This candidate, under general supervision, reconciles rebate reductions against complex company contracts using SAP system to determine appropriateness of rebate deductions/requests from Company authorized distributors, hospitals/providers and group purchasing organizations; and performs other related work as required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, examines and/or resolves rebate discrepancies due to missing contract data, incorrect contract/acquisition pricing, incorrect unit of measure conversions, facility membership eligibility, and HMAD dealer eligibility.
- Generates credit memos for approved rebates and apply credits to customer debit deductions, in effort to clear the customer account balance; provides customer monthly reconciliation reports in various formats answer customer questions about discrepancies between the expected deduction and approved rebate amounts.
- Comprehends numerous unique Group Purchasing Contract (GPO), Integrated Delivery network (IDN), and Individual Special Pricing Agreement procedures. Numerous contract exceptions and special circumstances necessitate and individual extremely details oriented and able to methodically evaluate each customer/situation and identify applicable exceptions.
- Works closely with key departments such as Contracts, Customer Service and Accounts Receivables, in effort to adequately verify and determine if additional rebate credit is due to our customer. Once the investigation is closed and resolution is appropriately determined, account must be accurately reconciled and all remaining balances must be collected in full.
- Communicates with HRCI HMAD dealers needing research due to problems with submission errors, pricing discrepancies, and over-deductions. Dealers must submit in writing all necessary documentation supporting their disputed amounts. A timely resolution must be closely monitored and adhered to as many HMAD dealers have significant rebate activity that may delay the collection process.
- Ensures accurate and timely rebate processing. Accurate reporting is necessary for GPO’s compliance. Errors may result in decrease/inaccurate commissions, inaccurate sales ranking, demoralized sales force; payments that could jeopardize A GPO contract, trip an audit and ultimately cause contract cancellation.
- Enhances growth and development through participation in education programs, current literature, training meetings and workshops.
- Demonstrates professional responsibilities by cooperating with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee relations, interdepartmental objectives, and departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Interpret accounting data, draw sound conclusions and recommend effective courses of action.
- Prepare clear and concise statements and reports.
- Learn and understand all costs and manufacturing variance reports in SAP.
- Explain policies and procedures on a variety of issues relating to the operations of a rebate department.
- Basic principles and practices of general accounting.
- The methods of developing systems form for various types of accounting records and reports.
- Data processing systems and their application to accounting administration.
- Minimum high school diploma required plus one to two years college or business related training highly desirable.
- Minimum of one-year customer service or accounting experience or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing medical device environment.

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Retirement Plan/Benefits Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Cary, NC. This position requires someone proficient and experienced with Retirement Funds, Trust Operations and Fund Management.
Responsibilities
1. Interpret legal documents and current Internal Revenue Service (IRS) code and ERISA regulations. Keep abreast of appropriate tax laws, regulations, trends, and issues that may affect plan administration.
2. Inform Administration Team Leader, Regional Recordkeeping Manager, and EB Administration Manager of pertinent account issues.
3. Ensure that all required work plans, operating procedures and processing checklists are maintained and updated as needed
4. Coordinate the transfer of existing plan assets and participant account records from the prior Trustee/Custodian/Record keeper to Client’s trust and recordkeeping systems.
5. Review new account openings for accuracy following approved checklists and ensure accounts coded for modeling are coded and working properly.
6. Review and process data received from plan sponsor using Information Security guidelines.
7. Review trial balances/cash sheets daily for accuracy; clear overdrafts within required time frame of 3 business days; key security trades through Trade Order Processing; and wire cash/assets into or out of accounts.
8. Submit fees timely and accurately to appropriate personnel to generate fee bills and monitor accounts to see that fees are collected.
9. Prepare and/or review, in a timely manner, Form 5500 for the plan or gather data for the preparation of Form 5500; promptly respond to any IRS notices regarding Form 5500; assist in preparation of other required regulatory filings.
10. Coordinate the transfer of plan assets and participant account records to successor Trustee/Custodian/Record keeper from trust and recordkeeping systems.
11. Participate in internal and external audit inquiries as well as regulatory inspections as required.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training
2. Two or more years of relevant experience
3. Knowledge of ERISA laws and regulations
4. Working knowledge of the OMNI and AG Sungard platforms (preferred)
5. Ability to work overtime and travel as needed
