Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Junior Financial Analyst for our Manufacturing client in Apex, NC.  The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning and analysis activities, budgeting, forecasting, and providing valuable insights to drive sound financial decision-making within the organization. Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling, to support strategic decision-making.
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, monthly financial statements, and ad-hoc reports for management.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Collaborate with various departments to gather budget inputs and assist in the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
    • Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to enhance cost efficiency.
  3. Cost Analysis:
    • Analyze manufacturing costs, identify cost drivers, and propose cost-saving initiatives.
    • Work closely with the operations team to understand production processes and provide insights into cost optimization.
  4. Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data in the company’s financial systems.
    • Extract and manipulate data from various sources to generate meaningful financial reports.
  5. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and distribute financial reports to relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
