Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing civil engineering company in the RTP area who is hiring a Field Service Technician to join their team. This is a contract to hire opportunity working on 1st shift.
Responsibilities:
- Perform equipment calibration and maintenance services at customer sites and in-house
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the service process
- Prepare calibration documentation in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards
- Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs on gauges and related equipment
- Maintain accurate service records using internal software tools
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives
Requirements:
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% (including overnight stays)
- Prior field service experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to work in materials labs (asphalt, concrete, and soil environments)
- Valid driver’s license
