Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing food manufacturer in the Mebane area who is looking for a Warehouse Lead to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working day shift, 12 hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Warehouse lead will determine shipping priorities and set shipping schedules
- Lead will maintain inventory accuracy of stocked items through cycle counts and audits
- Lead will identify and correct shipping/receiving documentation, labeling, and process issues and discrepancies
- Lead will assign carriers based on price, service, and timing
- Lead will track cycle count adjustments to identify trends and work on continuous improvement efforts
- Lead will ensure all GMP procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5-10 years experience working in warehouse and logistics environments
- Candidates must have a solid knowledge shipping using Fedex, UPS, DHL; international shipping background preferred
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Candidates must have a STRONG attention to detail, possess strong organizational skills and communication skills
- Candidates with food distribution background a plus
- Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent
