Accentuate Staffing is recruiting a Warehouse Associate to work for a wholesale hardware distributor in the Apex area. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity, working 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate will be responsible for pulling orders using pick tickets
- Candidate will assist in packing orders, printing shipping labels, as well as loading trucks
- Candidate will unload trucks, sort and stock product using a sit-down forklift
- Candidate will occasionally assist customers and clients with orders
- Candidate will operate company vehicle to perform deliveries within a 1 hour radius of Raleigh
Requirements:
- Must have 2 years warehouse background
- Must have previous experience operating a forklift as well as electric pallet jack
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Candidate will need a valid NC Driver’s License and be able to pass a MVR
- Candidate will also be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
