Are you an animal lover? Do you have experience working with animals? Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a MULTIPLE positions for Vet Tech AND Vet Assistant for a 24/7 veterinary practice in the Knightdale area. We have full and part time options as well as a variety of shifts to accommodate most any schedule. The ideal candidate will have a RVT or LVT certification and/or on the job training in general practice and/or urgent care vet setting.
Responsibilities:
- Taking client histories and providing initial education
- Restraining patients
- Care of hospitalized patients
- Assist in taking of radiographs
- Give IV & IM injections
- Place IV catheters
- Assist with running labs
- Following opening/closing procedures for hospital
- Performing routine cleaning
Requirements:
- HSD/GED and/or applicable certification as an RVT, LVT or CVT
- Min 1 year of veterinary practice experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Cornerstone experience a plus
