Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a SEVERAL high level managerial openings for a 24/7 veterinary practice in the Knightdale area.  Areas of expertise include:  General Practice, Surgery and ER/ICU.  The ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ related experience in the healthcare, veterinary profession, or service industry.

Responsibilities:

General Practice Manager Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the assigned area of the hospital and actively managing the team with frequent and direct communication on daily responsibilities and workflow
  • Functioning in the practice as a veterinary technician, assistant, receptionist, or a combination thereof
  • Identifying areas for improvement in “big picture” operational processes and working with senior hospital leadership to formulate and implement systemic solutions
  • Interviewing, selecting, training, developing, coaching, mentoring and, if necessary, disciplining and terminating staff
  • Directing, leading and mentoring staff to realize their potential through individual goal setting and frequent communication to monitor progress and tweak goals as needed
  • Focusing on staff development and involvement to address issues and improve themselves and the hospital
  • Communicating positively and effectively and routinely leading hospital team meetings and one-on-one meetings with staff members and doctors
  • Working with the hospital leadership team to educate and delegate administrative responsibilities to team members
  • Overseeing administrative duties as assigned including expense management, cash control/banking, loss prevention, office and medical supply ordering, staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Overseeing facility cleanliness and organization of the assigned area
  • Ensuring compliance with all practice policies and procedures and with all local, state and federal laws

Surgery Manager Responsibilities:

In order to facilitate efficient hospital flow in a nurturing environment for both staff and clients, responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the assigned area of the hospital and actively managing the team with frequent and direct communication on daily responsibilities and workflow
  • Functioning in the practice as a veterinary technician, assistant, receptionist, or a combination thereof

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience required.
