Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a growing trade show exhibit manufacturer in the Durham area who is hiring for an Exhibit Builder. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand and power tools to build custom tradeshow exhibits
- Operate various shop tools to include table saws, routers, etc.
- Perform lamination of cabinetry
- Assemble and pack crates for shipping
- Read and follow blueprints and other drawings
Requirements:
- Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable working with various saws and drills
- Previous exhibit building experience a huge plus
- Experience laminating cabinetry also a plus
- Must be comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
- Will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs consistently
- Must have high school diploma/GED equivalent, trade school experience a plus
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
