Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain various types of tools, dies, and fixtures according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce precision parts and components.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on existing tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for tooling improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of tools to prevent downtime and ensure longevity.
• Provide support for tooling-related issues during production runs.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years setting up and operating manual mills/lathes, CNC experience a plus.
• Candidates must also have strong equipment maintenance experience
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Candidates must be able to use hand and power tools, drills, taps, grinders, etc.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy tools and equipment.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Associates degree in machining, or completed apprenticeships preferred
