Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join a large biotechnology company in the RTP area for a six month contract. This client is looking for someone with a friendly personality who loves to stay organized. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in an office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Prepare service agreements for legal review, send faxes, copying and scanning
  • Preparing and maintaining vendor files electronically, handle mailings, and shipping packages
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Assist with expense reports and data entry
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant
  • Background in customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Proficient in MS Office
