Accentuate Staffing is hiring a Supplier Quality and Development Engineer for a growing company in Durham, NC. The company is in the medical device field and is looking for a qualified candidate to work in quality assurance. This is a Direct Hire opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Audit and improve supplier quality through continuous improvement projects targeted at the supplier’s internal process and/or design
- Establish and sustain effective partnerships with suppliers to develop technical capability
- Implement Production Part Approval Process, including PFMEA and control plans at the supplier level
- Develop genealogy and traceability standards with suppliers and contract manufacturers
- Perform supplier audits to ensure compliance to all regulatory and ISO requirements imposed by their products
Requirements:
- Have a strong understanding of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001:2015 and the ability to audit against those standards. Experience with ISO 13485 is a plus
- Lean and Six Sigma tool experience is a place
- Degree in electrical engineering
- Previous experience with electrical or semiconductor supplied components
- Experience developing a supplier manual
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
