Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a Strategic Marketing Manager to join a leading manufacturer in Durham, NC. The Strategic Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing the strategic sales and marketing plan focusing on Business Development at the focus segments in the Americas Region. In addition, the Strategic Marketing Manager will also work to provide valuable insight back into the organization to ensure we can build upon leadership position as a global powerhouse within our industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Overall Americas Strategy aligned to drive business results, grow market share, and position portfolio to become the leading supplier in the Americas Region
  • Manage & Develop business relationships with Key Accounts, internal Sales Team, EMS Manufacturers, and Distribution Partners
  • Drive increased business results for the Americas Region to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Track and identify market trends, product trends, competitive positioning, and market pricing trends
  • Responsible for tracking and driving metrics with appropriate tools
  • Role also requires management of customers with both local and international sales fulfillment
  • Ownership of total strategy to drive continuous market share gains within the Region to reach Business Goals
  • Responsible for driving and managing the strategy for the Americas Marketing Promotions, Field Sales Training, and Customer Training
  • When needed, direct customer facing and direct line of contact and support for all Americas customers, internal sales team, and EMS/Distribution partners
  • Communicate results, market intelligence, competitive information and any relevant information internally to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Management, Marketing and a minimum of 5 years of experience is required
  • Capable of leading team initiatives; excellent project management skills
  • Pro-active, independently working and enthusiastic person, who is willing to take initiative, feels at ease in an International and fast-paced environment and knows how to set priorities
  • Excellent customer facing, presentation, and communication (written & verbal) skills
  • Must be capable of balancing between Technical and Sales/Marketing disciplines
  • Must be comfortable traveling up to 50%
  • Customer Facing Skills: Teaching/Training on Products, Presentations, Product and Company Positioning, leading customer meetings, and business negotiations
  • Good organizational skills and commitment to fast follow through
  • High energy, high engagement level to drive for business success and to pursue business opportunities
  • Strong Leadership capability required for success within the role
  • Teachable with a continuous improvement mentality
  • Excellent team player and ability to develop strong and effective working relationships
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including EXCEL, PowerPoint and good knowledge of SAP/CRM
