Accentuate Staffing is assisting an innovative transportation equipment manufacturer in the Goldsboro area who is looking for a Strategic Buyer to join their team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Buyer will execute strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier selection and development, negotiations, cost saving projects, etc.
- Buyer will identify any sourcing gaps and implement continuous improvement efforts
- Buyer will manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, financial performance, and KPI’s
- Buyer will use knowledge of markets, suppliers, and company requirements to maintain availability of cost effective suppliers and materials
- Buyer will identify and qualify new suppliers globally
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 3+ years Buying experience
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems, Oracle is a plus
- A Bachelor of Science degree is required, Masters of Science degree preferred
- Lean Six Sigma experience and certification a plus
