Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a fast-growing, pharmaceutical CDMO who is hiring for a Sterile Fill Formulations Scientist. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits, working onsite in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities:
- Leads pre-formulations activities for early-stage formulation development of liquid drug products and new dosage forms.
- Responsible for developing solutions, lyophilized injectables, sterile parenteral oral liquids, and liposomal delivery systems.
- Participates in implementing new methods and processes to solve problems.
- Authors client communications, deviations, specifications, investigations, SOPs, test procedures and summary reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related scientific field with 5-8 years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience OR PhD with 2+ years of experience.
- Clearly demonstrated experience and knowledge of parenterals, process development and scale-ups.
- Experience with early phase drug development and the use of relevant physiochemical properties for solutions development preferred.
- Expertise in scientific principles, laboratory practices, cGMPs and regulatory requirements for pharmaceuticals and biologicals.
