Accentuate Staffing is partnering with our client in Durham to fill a hybrid Sr. Tax Accountant AND Manager level role. The ideal candidate with analytical, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Come be a part of a company that does things differently!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and year end US GAAP and US STAT current provisions and deferred tax accounting
- Assist with special projects including tax planning
- Assist in the tax return process including information gathering process
- Perform basic tax research and analysis projects
- Assist with IRS, state tax examinations and general tax notice response
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Requires moderate knowledge of tax accounting under ASC 740 and basic federal tax compliance skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access applications.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
