Accentuate Staffing has an exciting opportunity to work with an American specialty retail company as a Senior Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing deep analysis of data sets across the entire company. You’ll work cross-functionally across different departments to share your valuable insight as an integral part of the growing eCommerce market. If you are looking to do more than generate reports and are someone who can look at data and see a way to improve the customer experience or drive business forward, then this is the position for you.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys going into an office occasionally and is within a commutable distance of the Durham area. The ideal candidate has extensive experience conducting analysis and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical teams and individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insight from data sets across multiple business functions through data visualization, modeling, and analysis.
- Gather and process data for analysis through prepared data sets and ad-hoc queries.
- Be responsible for documentation to support claims and findings regarding assumptions and limitations.
- Identify opportunities for proactive analysis and prioritize requests accordingly.
- Work on analysis projects across sales, inventory, marketing campaigns, logistics, and other areas as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a data analyst function generating reports and running analysis.
- Proficient in SQL (having some Python and R experience is a plus).
- Experience using popular BI tools or similar.
- Excellent communication skills.
