Accentuate Staffing is assisting an electronics manufacturer in the Raleigh area who is hiring a Soldering Technician to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering and assembly of small components and electrical subassemblies.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and job sheets to build assemblies accurately.
- Assemble and wire components such as solenoids, relays, and drive units following production specifications.
- Set up and operate basic production tools and equipment including presses, crimpers, and hand tools.
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist in training new team members and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- IPC certification or formal soldering training.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
