Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Software Programmer to join an established manufacturing company located in Oxford, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining programs in a Microsoft Visual Studios environment. Responsibilities:

1) Provide support for user technical issues and assist with training

2) Maintain existing in-house software using Visual Studio

3) Design and develop new in-house software using Visual Studio

4) Ticket creation, escalation and resolution

5) Support daily operations including monitoring, backup, recovery of local server systems and networks

6) Research technologies and develop plans for improvement projects

7) Develop and maintain documentation of systems

Additional Responsibilities:

1) Train users and answer questions

2) Prepare customized IT reports

3) Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications:

1) Degree in programming or related field desired

2) 5 years of programming experience

3) SQL usage and management experience

4) Windows Hyper-V experience

5) Windows Server 2012 R2 and later experience

6) Hands on experience installing and troubleshooting IT hardware and software

7) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

8) Experience in a manufacturing environment 

Skill Set/Knowledge Required:

1) Visual Studio experience – a working knowledge of VB is preferable

2) Basic understanding of TCP/IP and VOIP

3) RDP/TS experience

4) Client/Server applications

5) Theory of server file/print services

6) Windows Active directory usage

7) Project management skills

8) Good time-management skills

9) Ability to work unsupervised and on a team

10) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

11) Able to interact with basic and advanced users
