Accentuate Staffing is assisting a chemical manufacturer in Durham who is looking for a Shipping Supervisor. This is a 1 year contract lasting until August 2021 working 7am-4pm Monday-Friday, plus any overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping Supervisor will supervise shipping associates
- Supervisor will maintain performance, training, quality, safety, and good housekeeping
- Supervisor will manage communications with internal and external customers
- Supervisor will manage material movement and storage, preparation, and inventory reports
- Supervisor will coordinate with freight carriers to ensure on time deliveries
- Supervisor will coordinate transfer of materials from warehouse to manufacturing plants
Requirements:
- Candidates must have shipping/logistics leadership background
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
- ERP/MRP experience is a strong plus
- Forklift license is preferred
- Associates degree or Bachelors degree a plus
