Accentuate Staffing is assisting a large manufacturing company in the Apex area with their need for for a Shipping Associate. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Perform shipping and receiving duties using UPS, FedEx, and DHL
- Prepare Bills of Lading
- Track delivery statuses for shipments as well as lost shipments
- Schedule carrier pick-ups
- Operate a sit-down forklift as needed
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years shipping experience using UPS, FedEx, or DHL
- International shipping experience a plus
- Must be comfortable operating a sit-down forklift and pallet jack
- Candidate will need to be comfortable performing basic arithmetic
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. continuously
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
