Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in the Cary area who is looking for a Shipping and Logistics Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping and Logistics Manager will oversee all shipping activities coordinating the shipping of all outbound products
- Manager will coordinate domestic and international shipments to customers, working with vendors on timing and logistics
- Manager will develop and manage KPIs to ensure delivery, cost and quality goals are met
- Manager will work with customers to resolve any shipment issues
- Manager will prepare shipment quotes for proposals, negotiate tariffs and quotes with freight companies
Requirements:
- Candidates must have 5 plus years experience in shipping and receiving in a leadership role
- Candidates must have an associates degree or equivalent work experience
- Candidates must be computer savvy with SAP, Microsoft Office Suite
- Candidates must have experience in resource planning, activity planning, and project organization
