Service Accountant
Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Service Accountant for a growing client in Graham, NC. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering strong career growth within a dynamic OEM environment. This role is responsible for managing financial activities and transactions within the technical service center, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage invoicing, pricing, and profitability analysis for service contracts, projects, and sales orders
- Audit customer maintenance contracts and ensure accurate renewal pricing alignment
- Oversee collections, financial tracking, and reporting; analyze and explain variances
- Lead contract management, including reconciliation of quoted vs. actual service technician hours
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals, billing accuracy, and revenue timing
- Track revenue and financial performance for service jobs and projects
- Partner cross-functionally to support inventory reconciliation and improve financial processes
- Drive process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and operational efficiency at the service center level
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Experience in staff accounting, project accounting, or operational accounting roles
- Service industry experience is a plus
- Hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a strong desire to learn and understand the business
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
