Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an innovative biotech company who is hiring for a Senior Research Scientist who specializes in Fermentation. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay and benefits working onsite. The ideal candidate has experience leading fermentation based, research projects across multiple teams/departments.
Responsibilities:
- Executes and independently designs experiments, resolving issues and troubleshooting as needed.
- Supports commercial operations using applicable microbial fermentation and physiology skills.
- Interacts with executives for high level reporting of research projects.
- Collaborates with other departments, partners and CROs managing multiple research projects.
Requirements:
- Scientific degree combined with 4-10 years of relevant industrial experience.
- Expertise in lab-scale fermentation, characterizing various microbes and performing scale-up of fermentation processes.
- GDP experience including the ability to write SOPs, creating reports, statistics, work instructions and other documentation.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
