Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a Medical Device company who is hiring a Senior Project Manager. This is a one year contract opportunity, offering a competitive salary working in a remote capacity with an office located in the RTP area. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), has worked around business warehousing systems, and is familiar with SAP processes and reports.

The company is a global provider of medical technologies designed to improve the health and quality of people’s lives. In this role, they are looking for someone to assist with process improvement, business change management, and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between business and Information Systems staff in resolving IT-related problems and represent the company in project meetings and take part in strategy meetings.
  • Assist in developing corporate or business unit plans, goals, objectives, policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Participate in the conceptual development of a project and oversee its organization, scheduling, implementation and financial analysis in accordance with corporate or business unit procedures.
  • Work with team leads and/or functional department heads to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with project development and delivery into production on time and budget.
  • Formulate management reports concerning work progress, costs and scheduling against plan.
  • Provide input to Contracts on technical aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with customers/vendors.
  • Document technical requirements, develop and oversee project plans and implement change control procedures on simple, single thread projects.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, MS Project or similar applications, presentation software and various email systems.
  • Demonstrated capability to independently managing a project or program with a project cost up to $10 million, duration of up to 2 years, and indirect staff up to 30 people.
  • Excellent understanding of resource management to include development of recovery strategies for project work running, or projected to run, behind schedule.
  • Experience with technical and administrative aspects of all phases of project management.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent
