Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Senior Portfolio Collections Administrator for an exciting opportunity in Cary, NC. The Senior Portfolio Collections Administrator is responsible for identifying impediments to prompt payments, developing an action plan for problem resolution and following up to ensure solution is reached and payment is received. This person in this role will utilize their experience to effectively manage the monthly accounts receivable review, identify accounts for collection, review and analyze documents , draft default notices, and prepare and present meeting details.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for following up on both current and past due business to business accounts
- Effectively manage communication and relationship with high-volume portfolio; contact customers on open invoices and document collections status
- Effectively identify and resolve customer issues preventing timely payment, which may include research within multiple systems/tools, contract terms, and payment history
- Create aging reports to follow up on any “close to past due” or past due accounts
- Collaborate with internal partners to escalate payment issues and help problem solve
- Research accounts receivable issues as required or directed
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years corporate collections
- Must have previous business to business collections working with large enterprise accounts
- Related experience in commercial collection, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable
- MS Office (String Excel Skills pivot tables & v-lookups)
- Customer Service Skills – Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing and tactfully deal with disgruntled customers
- Problem-Solving and Negotiation Skills – ability to identify and investigate discrepancies in payments, and customer contracts as they compare to invoiced
