Responsibilities:

• Process Engineering experience and the ability to develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) a strong plus.
• Conveyor, chute design and/or hopper experience a strong plus.
• Ability and desire to organize, lead and coordinate projects, acting as the primary representative for mechanical/piping systems and equipment to internal Project Managers, Department Managers, customers and other project stakeholders.
• Assist in producing list of deliverables lists for project proposals, especially in early stages of design.
• Allocate resources to produce deliverables within the required project scope, cost, and quality.
• Actively coordinate project designs with all other technical disciplines.
• Monitors the status of design projects and ensure change management is effectively executed within team.
• Ability and/or willingness to work within a 3D point cloud.

Requirements:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with the ability to obtain license in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.
• Provide expert competence in mechanical/piping services for their clients.
• Produce suitable design of mechanical/piping systems, including high-pressure systems, using industry best practices, ensuring compliance with Company Quality programs and relevant contracts (e.g., fluid dynamic calculations, pump sizing, build Fathom models, etc.).
• Strong pipe stress analysis competency.
• Able to generate Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Tank engineering ability and familiarity with API standards required.
