Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Senior Global Compensation Analyst. The Sr Compensation Analyst is responsible for proper planning, communicating and implementing the total compensation strategy to include new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures to align with the company’s goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. A keen expertise in compensation programs, processes and solutions will ensure pay philosophy, salary structures, incentive plans, annual merit budget and other compensation-related processes are competitive, equitable and drive attraction and retention of talent in order to support business initiatives, performance and profitability targets and growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs
- Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommend changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives
- Provide advice to HR and functional leaders on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations
- Design creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs, variable pay and incentive plans
- Develop techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data
- Oversee the participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved; advise and train HR colleagues on proper use of survey data
- Ensures compliance with global, federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations
- Using a variety of leading/reputable sources, review global compensation trends and data to recommend annual merit increase budgets by region/country
- Analyze and ensure effectiveness of compensation programs; develop appropriate models and design pay levels, salary structures and annual incentive pay programs
- Manage compensation programs for market and recommend improvements for compensation targets; evaluate market data and ensure efficiency and accuracy in data
- Ensure compliance and equity within the organization in the delivery of the salary evaluation program; recommend action plans to address pay equity and other issues
- Requires 10% business travel annually, both domestic and international.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field and
- Five to ten years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation
- Five+ years of successful collaboration with global HR Business Partners, senior management, business and functional leaders, and other colleagues as well as employees at all levels across the organization
- Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and certified compensation professional credentials preferred.
- Experience within a global company; familiarization with global compensation practices
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use MS Office products, including Excel
- Utilize HRIS systems and compensation program/reports/survey data (prior experience with Willis Towers Watson’s Global Grading solution or other job evaluation/leveling tools a plus)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
