Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading Supply Chain and Logistics solution provider who is looking for a Senior Freight Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire position requiring limited travel.
Responsibilities:
- Freight Manager will oversee daily supply chain logistics activities of customer
- Manager will analyze and review methods, process, and cost of all suppliers and vendors
- Manager will coordinate pricing implementation
- Manager will provide monthly and annual reporting on cost/savings metrics
- Manager will manage and maintain customer and supplier relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc, a plus
- Candidates must have prior logistics experience working with multiple levels of management
- Candidates must have knowledge of purchasing, customer service, accounting, warehousing, and transportation
- Candidates must have a proven ability to achieve results through persistent negotiations, appropriate allocation of resources, and strong communication skills
- Candidates must be computer savvy with Microsoft Office applications, requiring advanced Excel knowledge
- Limited travel required
