Accentuate Staffing is actively seeking a highly motivated Senior DSP Engineer (Software) with expertise in digital signal processing algorithm development. This pivotal role involves spearheading the creation of statistical signal processing algorithms tailored for analyzing streaming sensor data intended for military applications. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of creativity, initiative, analytical acumen, and exemplary interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with both internal teams and valued external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement DSP processing chains using languages like MATLAB, Python, and C/C++.
  • Define and integrate algorithm I/Os for desired outcomes.
  • Research journals for relevant algorithms to apply or modify.
  • Engage in all development life cycle phases, from requirements to optimization.
  • Lead collaborative teams in advanced R&D projects.
  • Support in crafting technical proposals.
  • Manage project aspects to achieve technical, time, and cost objectives.
  • Work autonomously and guide project direction.
  • Engage with customers and partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, or Physics.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, inclusive of software development.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Security Clearance eligibility.
  • Knowledge in digital communication, information theory, and related fields. Machine learning/AI experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of software defined radio (SDR) and related concepts.
  • GPU acceleration experience preferred.
  • History of fielded system/product implementation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Multi-tasking abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Competency in programming languages, preferably C and C#.
  • MATLAB proficiency.
