Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and complete monthly and year end close procedures, ensuring an accurate and timely close in accordance with our established schedule.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Responsible for preparing all monthly financial reporting to include internal reports, Board of Director reports and contractual report requirements including ensuring accuracy and completeness while analyzing results.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting and works with auditors to ensure a clean and timely year- end audit.
• Respond to inquiries from the Accounting Manager and other management regarding financial results and special reporting requests.
• Directs the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Great Plains Dynamics preferred
• Ability to complete initiatives and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to research and reconcile accounts
• Excellence in attention to detail and time management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong Excel Experience to include formulas and vlookups
