Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our well established client in the N. Raleigh/Wake Forest area. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and is a fantastic opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monthly financial close, preparation and review of journal entries, and account reconciliation and analysis
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of financial statement
- Prepare and maintain processes and internal control documentation
- Provide assistance to Controller with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Research of GAAP and IFRS accounting guidance, accounting related and other special projects as assigned
- Assist with annual external audit and preparation of assigned audit schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (public accounting experience with a national/regional firm preferred)
- Previous experience with account reconciliation, general ledger journal entries
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and exposure to IFRS is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel
- CPA or other certification a plus
- MS Dynamics experience a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
