Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in the Oxford, NC area who is looking for a Safety Manager. This is a Direct Hire opportunity working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Safety Manager will facilitate compliance with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
- Manager will ensure a safe work environment to prevent any injuries and accidents
- Manager will plan and implement safety policies and programs
- Manager will recruit safety teams and lead safety meetings
- Manager will track personnel out of work due to COVID, conduct contract tracing of positive cases, etc
Requirements:
- Candidates must be knowledgeable of safety legislation, procedures, hazardous material requirements
- Candidates must be proficient producing reports, writing policies and procedures, conducting data analysis and statistics
- Bachelors degree in Safety Management of equivalent
- Certificate in occupational health and safety a plus
