
RF Design Engineer
Accentuate Staffing is working with a company that is hiring an RF Design Engineer to join their team. This organization develops advanced secure communications and electronic warfare technologies that support mission-critical national security applications. The role will play a key part in leading RF system design efforts and contributing to next-generation solutions that enhance resilient and secure communications.
This role is based on-site in a hybrid capacity at the Huntsville, AL office. Compensation begins at $160k+ and is determined by experience, with the flexibility for qualified candidates to pursue compensation aligned with their expertise. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in RF communications, software-defined radios, and electronic warfare systems, with the ability to design, test, and validate solutions that directly impact defense operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead RF communications and electronic warfare system design, including architecture, implementation, and validation.
- Develop and implement advanced signal processing algorithms in embedded environments.
- Conduct modeling and simulation of RF systems, analyzing system performance under various conditions.
- Support hardware-in-the-loop testing and mission-based scenario evaluations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and communicate findings to internal stakeholders and government partners.
Requirements:
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in RF communications and electronic warfare systems, including design, simulation, and implementation.
- Proficiency with software-defined radio frameworks such as GNURadio, REDHAWK, or similar.
- Strong background in embedded C/C++ programming and digital signal processing.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments and execute complex engineering projects with minimal oversight.
