Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Heating and Air Company who is looking for Residential and Commercial Installation Mechanics and Apprentices. These are direct hire roles working 7am to 530pm with overtime Monday through Thursday with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Installation Mechanic will perform installation of HVAC-related equipment in residential and commercial buildings.
- Installation Mechanic will install flex and sheet metal duct systems and copper refrigerant lines to units.
- Installation Mechanic will carry out brazing, soldering, and wiring of both low and line voltage to equipment.
- Installation Mechanic will connect gas lines to heating apparatuses.
- Installation Mechanic will determine necessary materials and receive equipment for jobs.
- Installation Mechanic will perform readings on machines.
- Apprentice will assist Installation Mechanic with job duties.
Requirements:
- Installation Mechanics must have 1-3 years HVAC installation background; Apprentices must be mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Candidates must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Candidates must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varying temperature conditions.
- EPA certification is a plus.
