Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading Contract Research Organization in the RTP area who is hiring a Repository Technician. This is a contract-hire position working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Technician will take inventory, inspect, verify, and assemble clinical specimens and data, pulling samples from freezers
- Technician will file and retrieve information
- Technician will complete daily checks of freezers and supportive equipment
- Technician will maintain laboratory, freezers, and equipment following cleaning procedures
- Technician will perform occasional courier duties to include pick up or delivery of specimens and/or data
Requirements:
- Candidates must have an Associates degree in a life science discipline or have 3+ years relevant experience
- Candidates must be comfortable working in freezers, pulling samples from freezers, wearing proper PPE
- Candidates must be computer savvy
- Candidates must have a basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Candidates must have a valid NCDL and good driving record
