Accentuate Staffing is recruiting for a leading manufacturer in the Durham area who is looking for a R&D Bench Chemist. This is a 1st shift direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Technologist will experiment on product, write reports and summarize findings
- Technologist will investigate problems, identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Technologist will propose improvements to existing products
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Chemistry or equivalent a plus, Bachelors degree required
- Candidates must have a knowledge of test methods for powders and pastes
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics/Navision a plus
- Candidates must be willing to travel 20% of the year, sometimes with short notice
- Candidates must have product development or research experience
- Candidates must be comfortable wearing PPE: safety gloves, glasses, respirators, etc.
