Accentuate Staffing has an opening for an R&D Chemist at a chemical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate has experience with chemicals, resins and/or polymers in a lab or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct experiment, tests and analyses, under direction of chemists
- Collect and interpret results of test and analyses, reporting issues
- Assist in developing new test methods and procedures
- Servicing, operating, calibrating and maintaining all lab equipment
- Assist with new installations and operation of new lab equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in chemistry, science or engineering
- MS Office Software experience
- Adhere to all PPE requirements and company safety policies
- Experience with GC, FTIR and DSC equipment is preferred
