Accentuate Staffing is working with an established manufacturing company in the Apex area who is hiring for a Quality Technician. This is a 1st shift, contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Will be required to perform incoming inspections and first article inspections
- Responsible for identifying and performing any documentation of nonconforming materials
- Perform inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
- Utilize various measurement and test equipment to include vision systems, optical comparators, micrometers, gage blocks, indicators, etc.
- Read and follow engineering drawings
Requirements:
- Candidate must have 4+ years quality technician or CNC Machinist background
- CMM experience required as well as knowledge of nonconforming materials
- Must be comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Must have previous experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required, Machine Shop Tech degree a plus
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
