Accentuate Staffing is partnering with a biotechnology company in the RTP who is hiring for a Research Technician. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering competitive pay working onsite. The ideal candidate has the ability to conduct research experiments and participate in research and development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research experiments in efforts to develop, product and characterize products to achieve desired outcomes.
- Mentor junior colleagues in conducting research.
- Understand customer’s industry, processes, and how company’s products and research address their needs.
- Contribute to outcomes, identifying opportunities for the continued improvement of product quality, processes, and methods.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field combined with a minimum of two years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree in a scientific field.
- Ability to conduct research independently.
- Knowledge and experience in feed enzyme industry, research, applications, statistical design and analysis of experiments.
- Familiarity with common molecular biological and biochemical techniques.
- Project management skills and knowledge of regulatory processes are highly preferred.
