Accentuate Staffing is currently hiring a Quality Engineer to join a great company in the Apex, NC area. The company is in the water treatment business. This is a great opportunity to grow with a company and this is a Direct Hire position!
Responsibilities:
- Apply quality systems as necessary for continuous improvement and to achieve quality objectives (DOE’s, Poka-yokes, etc.)
- Assure compliance of all quality management systems, execute audits, and conduct follow up corrective actions to maintain and improve internal and external systems
- Evaluate process capability and apply appropriate statistical techniques and control methods
- Participate in process and product planning and design, gage design and service improvement
- Supervise Quality Technician(s)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or related
- 2-6 years of experience as a quality engineer
- Supplier qualification and validation experience
- Knowledge of lean environment and implementation systems, automotive quality systems, ISO experience, and Electrical experience are all a plus
- The best candidate will have the ability to take initiative, look at the big picture, and be a leader
