Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Technical Writer for global medical device manufacturer in RTP, NC. This role will work within a team environment to perform quality activities for medical devices and products manufactured, marketed and or distributed by the company. This position is onsite and is a one year long contract position. This position requires you have the Covid vaccine.
Responsibilities:
- Performing quality activities for medical devices and products manufactured, marketed and/or distributed by the company
- Interface with external and internal groups regarding the complaint information (e.g., obtain additional detailed information regarding product complaints, follow-up on product returns, etc.).
- Product complaint investigations
- Issues return authorization, visually and functionally review the complaint
- Perform receiving verification of returned products and communicate accordingly with appropriate internal groups.
- Writes and reviews ‘product not returned investigation’ (PNR) and performs initial functional testing in accordance with the Instructions for Use manual.
- Soft investigation – request device history record, attach to record and run query to see what kind of reports you’ve received and how many confirmed.
Requirements:
- Must have good reading comprehension skill in addition to proficiency in Microsoft software.
- Combination of college and/or 3-5 years’ work experience
- Experience with compliance of medical devices or medical device background is a plus
- Technical type person with technical writing skills is needed
- Open device, diagnose internal components
- Must be vaccinated
