Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established food processing equipment manufacturer in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the food safety and quality assurance programs in an aseptic manufacturing environment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with FDA and GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards in the aseptic production setting.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards within the aseptic environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any quality-related issues specific to the aseptic processes and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and educate employees on food safety and quality assurance protocols tailored for the aseptic manufacturing setting.
  • Monitor and analyze production processes in the aseptic environment to identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures.
  • Manage documentation and record-keeping related to quality control and assurance activities within the aseptic facility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in food safety and quality assurance roles within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in an aseptic environment.
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations and GFSI standards with specific application to aseptic production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced aseptic manufacturing environment.
  • Must be Covid-19 Vaccinated.
