Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a QC Microbiologist to join an established company in the RTP area.  This is a long term contract position.

Responsibilities: 

• Environmental Monitoring and Utilities monitoring
• Collecting and tracking samples for environmental monitoring.
• Performing bioburden and other microbiological testing.
• Perform data entry and record issuance tasks supporting QC programs.
• Perform data and document review.
• Coordinate, assemble, and route documentation to support QC document review and approval as required by Quality Systems Management.
• Perform Total Organic Carbon, Conductivity, and Endotoxin testing
• Write the Action and Alert Level reports according to SOP.
• Participate in problem solving exercises to identify the potential root causes.

Requirements:

• Familiar with working in a cGMP environment.
• Experience with laboratory operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications required.
• Ability to stand, up to 6 hours a day; walk; reach with hands and arm and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Associate degree in science with 2-4 years of experience   Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 0-2 years of experience
