Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading medical device manufacturer who is looking for a QC Chemist to join their team. This is a direct hire, 2nd shift position training on 1st shift then working 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday with some occasional overtime.
Responsibilities:
- QC Chemist will perform routine and non-routine analytical testing
- Chemist will perform laboratory lot release testing
- Chemist will troubleshoot to investigate discrepancies to solve problems
- Chemist will perform quality assurance reviews
- Chemist will maintain QC test lab facility through routine maintenance, lab cleaning, and replenishment of lab supplies
- Chemist will comply with FDA regulations, company policies, procedures, and processes
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a BS degree in Chemistry, Biology or related discipline OR have an Associates degree in Chemistry, or BioManufacturing training and education with 2+ years industry experience in a FDA regulated analytical test laboratory environment
- Candidates must have experience in wet chemistry techniques to include micro-pipetting, extractions, titrations
- Candidates must have experience in a GMP and FDA regulated environment
- Candidates must be familiar with CLSI guidelines
- Candidates must be able to work 2nd shift and train on 1st shift; availability for some weekend overtime
