Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator for an IT consulting company in Durham. The ideal candidate for this direct hire will have a background with technology and will lead procurement activities for external vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase of IT products including computers, servers, printers, licensing, and networking equipment.
- Negotiate and compare completive pricing
- Assist customers with direct orders from B2B sites
- Generate request for quotes
- Follow up on all purchase orders ensuring accurate delivery and cost
- Product and solution research
Requirements:
- 1-3 years industry experience.
- IT background or IT knowledge preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines.
