Accentuate Staffing is seeking a professional Purchasing Admin for a large manufacturing client in the Garner area. This is a temp to hire role.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies
  • Work to find lowest possible cost and negotiate pricing agreements
  • Provide support at the front desk by greeting guests and visitors and answering phones
  • Purchase routine raw materials and finished goods and ensure specification requirements are met
  • Process approved purchase requisitions
  • Communicate with vendors and gather quotes from suppliers on requested supplies
  • Assist with accounting reports
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of previous purchasing/buying work experience
  • Background working with MS Office
  • Manufacturing buyer/purchasing experience desirable
  • ERP experience desirable
  • Excellent communication skill set and ability to wear multiple hats
