Accentuate Staffing is seeking a professional Purchasing Admin for a large manufacturing client in the Garner area. This is a temp to hire role.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies
- Work to find lowest possible cost and negotiate pricing agreements
- Provide support at the front desk by greeting guests and visitors and answering phones
- Purchase routine raw materials and finished goods and ensure specification requirements are met
- Process approved purchase requisitions
- Communicate with vendors and gather quotes from suppliers on requested supplies
- Assist with accounting reports
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of previous purchasing/buying work experience
- Background working with MS Office
- Manufacturing buyer/purchasing experience desirable
- ERP experience desirable
- Excellent communication skill set and ability to wear multiple hats
