Accentuate Staffing has a direct hire opening for a Project Manager for a client in Clayton, NC. The position is responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of work through operations and ensuring information is shared timely and seamlessly between all departments. The ideal candidate with have at least 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment and understand Kaizen/Lean techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Create and foster a safety and quality conscious environment.
- Plan and manage the flow of processes for all new projects including fabrication/delivery schedules, project budget, update/maintain management software tools, communicate status daily/weekly, communicate effectively and regularly with internal/external team and the DOT
- Coordinate with executive team and managers/supervisors to determine, define and maintain attributes for a successful project
- Confer with executive team, managers/supervisors and other administrative personnel to assess, discuss, and adjust the goals and objectives resulting from current project and conditions.
- Provide dedicated attention to unique projects and/or processes and prepare performance reports utilizing data and analysis tools for future and in-process guidance.
- Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate continuous improvements, productivity, efficiency, quality and safety.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a project manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to clearly and effectively present goals and directives to all personnel whether delivered orally or in written form.
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Exhibit skills in materials and inventory management, production scheduling, automation and preventive maintenance.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and show ability to learn and effectively utilize proprietary company software.
- Remediate setbacks through analysis and problem resolution.
