Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Clinical Research Organization who is in need of a Project Finance Systems Specialist. This is a contract position for 6-8 months. The Project Finance Systems Specialist will support all activities associated with Project Finance systems. This role supports use of the systems which includes working closely with stakeholders, operations, project finance and IT to meet the needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the migration of studies, load remaining studies, and add specific components required for ASC 606
- Utilize operational and financial understanding to ensure system configuration and provide efficient and accurate results to management and end users
- Administer new project setup in IPM and Cost Point inclusive of setup for change order budgets
- Support application upgrades to ensure minimal business impact
- Analyze use of systems to ensure continued consistency and information flow
- Understand business requirements to develop report specifications for applicable report writers, including identifying where the data is located
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, or international equivalent from an accredited institution, in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a service organization
- 1-2 years direct experience in the Clinical Research industry
- Ability to create and analyze reports in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of integrated program management systems
- Solid Excel experience including shortcuts, advanced formulas, functions and macros
- Knowledge of web based communication tools for conferences
- Highly detail oriented
