Accentuate Staffing is hiring a junior level Project Manager and Estimator for a grading and paving company in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, estimation, and some knowledge of asphalt, concrete, or grading.
Responsibilities:
- Estimate and negotiate bids for all size grading and paving projects in central and southeastern NC
- Project management, including gathering all necessary data, plans, standards, specifications, dimensions, quantities, and designs to win or negotiate bids profitably
- Contact all suppliers and vendors to initiate contracts
- Review estimates and cost breakdowns in a timely manner
- Gather all details of the projects by performing take offs to estimate accurately each job
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a civil engineering or construction based degree
- Knowledge of construction industry and the market
- Knowledge of NCDOT specifications preferred
- OSHA 10/30 preferred
