Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing food processing equipment manufacturer in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire position working Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Production Supervisor is responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting aseptic machinery and equipment
- Supervisor is responsible for setting up, sterilizing and continuously monitoring aseptic filling equipment, batch equipment, and packing equipment
- Supervisor is responsible for communicating with and managing employees’ in regards to performance expectations, offering support, and providing guidance as needed
- Supervisor is responsible for documenting all necessary paperwork
- Supervisor is responsible for implementing packaging integrity testing to include weight checks, and metal detection using proper validation methods
- Supervisor is responsible for material sterilization with hydrogen peroxide
- Supervisor is responsible for collaborating with engineers to perform, improve, update and complete PM frequency on the equipment
- Supervisor is responsible for doing CIP, COP, and SIP before and after productions
Requirements:
- Production supervisor must have a strong knowledge of GMPs, current OSHA and Safety Standards
- Supervisor must have 3+ years leadership experience in production environments
- Supervisor must have a strong attention to detail
- Supervisor must be comfortable working in various environments to include tight/enclosed spaced, heights, and extreme temperatures
- Supervisor must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
